1、 Die selection

-Consider the thickness, hardness, and bending requirements of the material. For example, when the material thickness T is ≤ 4mm, molds with V-grooves ≤ 24mm are usually selected; When T ≥ 4mm, choose a mold with a V-groove greater than or equal to 32mm.
-If the workpiece requires a 90 degree bend, in order to avoid mold damage or workpiece scrap, the V-groove must not be less than 4t (t is the material thickness).
2. Choose according to the bending shape:
-Common mold shapes include V-shaped, U-shaped, C-shaped, and rectangular. Different shapes of molds are suitable for bending products of different shapes.

-Choosing molds made of high-quality alloy steel or high-strength cast steel with excellent strength and hardness can ensure that the molds are not easily deformed and worn during long-term use.
2、 Die adjustment
1. * * Install mold * *:
-Install the selected mold correctly onto the bending machine to ensure accurate alignment between the mold and the fixture.
-During the installation process, check the wear of the molds and fixtures, and replace them promptly if there is severe wear.
2. * * Adjust the mold gap * *:
-Adjust the gap between the upper and lower modules based on the thickness of the folded board. A reasonable gap can ensure that the material is subjected to uniform force during the bending process and improve the bending accuracy.
3. * * Adjust the mold angle * *:
-After determining the required angle, the mold can be adjusted. The specific method includes loosening the fixing screws on the upper and lower parts of the bending mold, using an adjusting tool to move the mold horizontally or vertically until the desired angle is obtained, and tightening the fixing screws.
-Recheck if the angle is correct and conduct trial billet processing to ensure that the processing effect meets the requirements.

-Regularly clean and lubricate the mold to reduce wear and extend its service life.
